Banana Smoothie Recipe

Bananas are a very baby friendly fruit and one of the very few that babies can eat raw. Bananas when combined with curds and orange juice in this velvety concoction provide your baby with energy, carbohydrates, calcium, vitamin A, vitamin C.

However, bananas can also cause constipation for your baby if she isn't getting enough liquids and fiber to balance his diet. According to University of California San Francisco, you should avoid giving your baby bananas when he is constipated. If you give your baby some bananas, be sure to also feed her other fruits that contain more fiber. (Read more about food that cause constipation in babies - http://bit.ly/WeYhGw)
